Francis Kalonji, from Congo-Kinshasa (DRC), has conceived and manufactured, among others, generators that run on salted water and compressed air to generate electricity. He is definitely gifted because he has not learned engineering at school. He is an orphan who has been requesting, continually, financial support for his innovations, as well as to complete his studies.
Unfortunately, those who have the power to help him do not take his work very seriously. If it were the case, these outstanding innovations could, for instance, serve as a base for developing seawater generating equipment in order to palliate the lack of electricity in the DRC, and in Africa as a whole.
